G, D, A, then G, D, C. Our chart has it at 70 beats a minute, so there is time to get your hand where it needs to be.

What to practise
Open the song and find the speed control. Start at half speed. Play one note per beat, following the chords as they light up.
Going from D to the C at the end of the second line is the move that catches people, because you jump from an open string to a fretted one on another string. Do it ten times on its own.
Open strings keep ringing after you have moved on. When you change to a new note, rest a finger lightly on the string you just left, so the two notes do not blur together. Listen for the clean stop.
You're done when: you get through the whole song with the record without stopping, at any speed.
This is a root-note version, not a transcription of the record's bass part.
