How to play REACT by Switch Disco on guitar

REACT is a good beginner tune because it sits in a tight, driving groove and feels steady once you lock into the pulse. You get a strong, modern pop feel without needing a lot of fancy movement, so it is a nice one for building confidence.

The open shapes, D, A, and E, are the easier part, while B, F#m, and Bm ask for cleaner barre work and more hand pressure. The main change to watch is the move between the open sound and the barre shapes, especially in the opening D - B - F#m - D pattern, where your fretting hand has to stay relaxed and ready.

Start by looping the opening progression slowly until the shape changes feel automatic. Then add the rest of the chart in small sections, keeping your strums even and your hand loose. Once the changes are smooth, bring it up to tempo and focus on staying steady rather than playing harder.
