Guess featuring billie eilish

How to play Guess featuring billie eilish by Charli xcx on guitar

This song is a strong pick if you want a current-sounding groove that sits in a beginner-friendly range. It feels steady and punchy at around 120 BPM, so you can focus on keeping the pulse relaxed and even while the part drives forward.

You’ll use a mix of open shapes and barre shapes, so the main challenge is moving cleanly between the easier grips and the harder ones. The change to watch is the opening move from D#m to A#m to G# and then Em, since that shift asks you to stay accurate while changing hand position quickly.

Start by learning each chord shape on its own, then loop the opening progression slowly until the changes feel automatic. After that, practice it with a simple even strum and only speed up once the switches stay clean. Keep your hand loose, and let the rhythm settle before you try to play along at full tempo.

Use the play-along above to follow each chord change in time with the music, or learn the shapes first with the chord diagrams below.
